Basic Life Support (BLS) Training ( Face to Face)

I run BLS (Basic Life Support) training sessions specifically designed for healthcare teams in CQC-registered clinics, bringing over 15 years of experience in healthcare operations and CQC compliance consultancy.

My training covers essential life-saving skills for both children and adults, including:

  • CPR and resuscitation techniques

  • AED (defibrillator) use

  • Choking management

  • Anaphylaxis response

The training is tailored to CQC-registered clinics, ensuring it not only teaches practical lifesaving skills but also aligns with patient safety standards and regulatory best practice. All courses are designed to meet HSE guidelines, the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, and the latest Resuscitation Council UK standards.

During the sessions, participants will work through a structured primary survey, assess airway, breathing, and circulation, and practice full resuscitation scenarios in a safe, hands-on environment. I also cover safe patient handling, incident management, and practical techniques to ensure your team is fully prepared to respond confidently in an emergency.

Practical assessments are carried out at the end of each session, and participants receive a certificate of completion. Sessions can be delivered in-house, in groups, or individually, depending on your clinic’s needs.
